Escapes from Alcatraz were not supposed to happen. But this photo shows our family with Alcatraz in the background--we escaped! Last March, when the boys were on spring break, we spent a few days in San Francisco. The boys like Alcatraz, so we visited it again this year. We had a special trip. Tim and I especially love the cable cars and he and I were up early every morning to ride them before meeting the boys. These are happy memories.

That looks like fun. I can't wait to take trips like that when our kids are older. I am sure it will be much easier than it is now.

It really is so much easier! The boys have their own hotel room which gives everyone space. But, on the other hand, I so enjoy your blogs and admire the way you treasure and record these very special years of your children! They grow so very fast and they need you in such a dear way when they are younger.
